What are Deeds Office fees?

When a home is purchased, the Title Deed is transferred from the seller to the buyer.

The Title Deed contains information about the property, including the identity of the owner.

Once it’s been transferred, it is registered at the Deeds Office by the conveyancing attorney.

The Title Deed is kept at the Deeds Office until the buyer has paid off their bond, at which point it is given to the buyer.

  • Title Deed registration takes place during the transfer of property process.
