Can you clear your credit history?
You can’t completely erase your credit record but you can take measures to improve it, such as paying off debts and paying bills on time.
However, if there is something on your credit report that you feel shouldn’t be there, you can lodge a complaint with the credit bureau, who will then have to investigate and respond within 20 days.
Court judgments (where a court orders you to pay an outstanding amount) will be removed from your credit report if you pay the full amount.
